The 2018-19 Continental Cup stage is set.
Groups are set, and the Silver Plate is waiting now that Yunost Minsk will NOT be a part of this years tourny. Now I’m not a fan of the Belarussians not defending their title, but end of the day much worse has been done in that part of the world **cough cough KHL**. Without further adieu, here’s the groups:
First Round, 28-30 September ’18:
Group A in Sofia, Bulgaria: Irbis-Skate Sofia (BUL), Zeytinburnu Istanbul (TUR), Vikingar Akureyri (ISL), HC Bat Yam (ISR)
Second Round, 19-21 October ’18:
Group B in Ritten, Italy: Ritten Sport (ITA), MAC Budapest (HUN), Acroni Jesenice (SLO), Crvena Zvezda Belgrade (SRB).
Group C in Riga, Latvia: HC Donbass (UKR), Kurbads Riga (LAT), Txuri Urdin San Sebastian (ESP), Winner Group A.
Third Round, 16-18 November ’18:
Group D in Lyon, France: Arlan Kokshetau (KAZ), HK Gomel (BLR), Lyon Lions (FRA), Winner Group C.
Group E in Belfast, United Kingdom: Belfast Giants (GBR), GKS Katowice (POL), Medvescak Zagreb (CRO), Winner Group B.
Final Round, 11-13 January ’19:
Top two teams in Group D and Group E.
