That was the quote from a Lokomotiv Yaroslavl’s coach, who’s team brought over David Desharnais (former Oiler) and played the natural NHL centre on the wing in a foreign country when he’s never played on the big sheet before.

But yet again they barely beat HC Davos, so they probably just wanted to dish off a big contract since they knew they’ll be shit anyways.
Desharnais had 28 points last season with the NYR and was quickly picked up by Avangard Omsk to play for Bob Hartley and with Maxime Talbot.
Another great look for the KHL, a league who plans on cutting even more teams next season and is trying to expand into Europe again……
