San Jose just struck the jackpot, and rinsed Pierre Dorion again…..
What a joke. The San Jose Sharks just got the best D man in the world for some mediocre prospects and no incredible draft picks. Doug Wilson must know how to tug on the right strings, because he continues to run the Sens, even after he flipped Mike Hoffman right in front of their faces.
Karlsson isn’t just a top d man, he’s a game changer. If he’s healthy, he’s buzzing around creating offence, zinging the puck up front to Pavelski and Kane, plus now setting up Brent Burns for cannons from the point. And talk about a deadly team building from the back, Jones is a quality goaltender, Burns and Karlsson are two of the top five d in the league and up front they’ve got Pavelski, Kane, Couture, Hertl and that old bugger Thornton (who was almost a ppg last season at age 39).
While every team in the west seemingly got stronger over the summer (except Edmonton), the Sharks look to be the clear front runners now in the pacific and probably the entire conference.
