Without a doubt, the Avs have the top line in hockey right now.
Whatever gas Hart Trophy runner-up Nathan Mackinnon has his line on is clearly working.
Gabriel Landeskog, MacKinnon and Mikko Rantanen have a combined 55 points so far this season, 11 more than Boston’s trio of Patrice Bergeron, David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand.
Now 4.6 points per game for this line isn’t anything to joke about, but when you combine one of the fastest players in the game, an incredibly skilled Fin and a dominant leader, the Colorado Avalanche are looking like a legit hockey team this season.
Plus offensively they’re not just deadly, they are running public lessons on Plus/Minus in the National Hockey League.
