Bruins take Game 1 at home

Down two goals? No biggie in beantown.

The Boston Bruins showed why why’re in an eight game winning streak Monday night with a dominant 4-2 win over the St. Louis Blues in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final.

After falling behind by a pair early in the second, the tide shifted and the Bruins suffocated the Blues all around the ice while finding ways to be the (should be) Calder winner Jordan Binnington.

Game 2 at the Garden will be a massive one. If St. Louis can get a split on the road, they’ll be high stepping at home in Game 3.
