Blues head home with 3-2 series lead

Questionable reffing? Never heard of it.

If anyone has been on the raw end of things when it comes to the zebras this year it was definitely the St Louis Blues and the hand pass OT loss against San Jose in Game 3. That should have lost them the series, but it didn’t. They put their heads down and went to work.

Now after a 2-1 loss at home, the Boston Bruins are asking themselves if they can take the same mentality on the road in Game 6/7.

Sure it should have been tripping, but you aren’t going to win a game scoring one goal anyways if you’re Boston. The Bs went 0/4 on the powerplay, so what’s a fifth going to do? And if you truly believe Debrusk was scoring that goal without the sheer anger boiling in his blood you’re wrong. He took out his frustration on that puck and it went through Binnington.

Games 5-7, no one has been more dialled in between the pipes than the rookie in St Louis. Binnington was phenomenal and is now one win away from lifting the cup.

GIVE HIM THE DAMN CALDER AWARD.

I loved the physical play in this game, the back and forth action, Chara playing through a broken jaw and I guarantee you more guys are dealing with snapped bones somewhere. What a series and what a treat we get to watch.
